Alan Klinkhoff, Owner and President

Some 65 years ago my now late father Walter Klinkhoff began trading in works of art.  He subsequently established Walter Klinkhoff Gallery, ultimately moving to Sherbrooke Street West in Montreal’s Golden Square Mile, only a few blocks from where Galerie Alan Klinkhoff, Montreal, is now located.  With casual assistance in the gallery literally “since the crib” and after years of summer employment at Walter Klinkhoff Gallery, in the 1970s I joined the family business formally, subsequently becoming a partner and President.

Jonathan, my elder son, joined Galerie Walter Klinkhoff in 1998 where he actively developed a more contemporary ability to communicate with our clients, specifically the inception of our gallery’s website, klinkhoff.ca.  In 2013 Alan Klinkhoff Gallery was established to continue the Klinkhoff tradition of trust, experience and expertise in the art business in Canada to a third generation of stewardship with me and both sons, Craig and Jonathan.

With the singular objective of offering better service to our clients we have developed Alan Klinkhoff Gallery, Toronto, at 113 Yorkville Avenue, where Jonathan is host.  Both Craig and I will regularly also be present at our Toronto gallery.

For all your fine art related interests including purchases, sales, appraisals and restoration we encourage your confidential inquiries to info@klinkhoff.ca and 416.233.0339. We invite you to visit us at 113 Yorkville Avenue and Klinkhoff.ca.
